Tammens Sadik
Tammens Sadik is a 1995, 15.1hh Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Asil chestnut stallion bred by Tom and Rhita McNair of Texas, legendary head trainers of world famous Gleannloch Farms, and purchased by Aimbri Arabians in 1995, as a weanling. His sire, Tammen, was a multi-champion in halter and performance and a sire of halter and performance champions including Scottsdale and U.S. National Champion and Top Ten Mares, and Egyptian Event Champions and Reserve Champions. In 1994 he was named one of the top three leading Egyptian sires. His dam, Sadik Sahbi, is a daughter of the legacy sire, Shaikh Al Badi, who was a U.S. National Reserve Champion Futurity Stallion and a sire of multiple national champions including the great Ruminaja Ali. Shaikh Al Badi has become known as a sire of champion-producing broodmares whose foals stand out with their size, elegance and regal bearing. Tammens Sadik was shown to several Class 'A' wins in both Open and Amateur and two Reserve Championships in 1998, qualifying for both regional and national shows. Unfortunately, a career-ending injury prevented further show-ring success. Retired to stud, he has been able to pass his gorgeous floating trot, exquisite head and neck, correct conformation and willing attitude on to his foals, while producing 75% fillies to date. His first foal has already found success in the show ring.
